Classic wok design
A wok, as opposed to a traditional frying pan, distributes heat a lot more evenly. This occurs because of the concave shape with sloping sides, as well as the nature of the material woks are made of. All of this means for a dish that is equally cooked throughout and which does not need the same kind of attention and manipulation a regular pan might when cooking the same dishes. They are better for the environment as they do not use gas and so as a result do not directly require the use of fossil fuels. They are also safer with there being no chance of a gas tap being left on by mistake at any point. This pan, despite its traditional design, adopts this new philosophy with its own induction bottom.
