Copier paper

The main difference between copy papers lies in the surface roughness: a smoother surface means lower toner/ink consumption and lower abrasiveness, which results in a longer lifespan for office equipment. High-quality copy papers have lower transparency and a special surface treatment that keeps the colour pigment close to the surface, ensuring vibrant contrast and fast drying. In office equipment (laser printers, inkjet printers, copiers), paper with a weight of generally 75–160 g/m² is used.
